Mr. Pennacchi was difficult to get a hold of at first, but once we'd reached the point where I had a proposal & estimate from him, he was pretty easy to reach over the phone. There was a long period between receiving the proposal & paying the deposit, & scheduling the work to be done, because the job could not be completed until the weather warmed up & there was no precipitation. Once scheduled, the job moved very quickly. There was only so much work they could do in one day, because time had to be spent waiting for concrete to set, etc. Overall, the job took about one week to complete, during which time there was a tall scaffolding built against the side of our home by the chimney, & a pile of supplies by the driveway covered with a tarp. Neither my husband nor I actually saw the crew during the job- they arrived after we left for work each morning (by 7 am) & were gone by the time we came home (before 4 pm). All equipment & debris was cleaned up when the job was done.

The experience went well, as expected. This is the second time my husband and I have used Mr. Pennacchi's company. He re-pointed our chimney in November of 2006. The windows look great in our basement and the workmanship looks impeccable. Mr. Pennacchi and his crew take pride in their work. We have more concrete/brickwork that will need to be done when the weather gets warm and I will call on his company again. I like the professionalism exhibited by this company.

Don’t hesitate to at least get a quote, they are truly phenomenal. We had our chimneys repointed, brickwork restored, and a basement wall resealed. It all blends seamlessly and looks gorgeous. I fully trust them to come back if the leaks return, though it seems unlikely with their superior quality. Ask for Sam as your foreman if you can, he was amazing. The entire crew was fantastic - doing difficult meticulous work in hot weather, and always with a friendly smile. Kudos to the Paul and the leadership for building a great team. Water was getting into my house because of the old brick exterior of my home. It needed to be repointed and painted on the interior (water marks and streaks from the rain). Although this was a very minuscule and small job, Paul and his son, Paul Junior, were incredibly professional, listened and addressed my concerns. They were quick to respond to my needs and always on “point” (haha) with communication. I left their crew to complete the work without being home and everything was safe and secure when I got back. They kept their work areas clean and took away their trash. I had previously received a few other bids on the job but Paul’s price was the most competitive. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

We are so impressed with Pennacchi & Sons. Here's why. (1) Multiple people recommended this company as the best in the region. (2) For a company with a huge legacy, working throughout the county, there was no hesitation to see what our small job looked like and whether they could help. (3) The crew was friendly, timely, and efficient. Ray walked us through the process, gave us a play-by-play for the best understanding of the work and answered tons of questions. (4) The end result was better than the original.

My basement was leaking really bad and had 2 different companies come out and try and fix the problem with no luck. Decided to try a third time and luckily I was able to come across APS they came out and did amazing work and solved my all my issues. Put in a French drain, sump pump, and then they stuccoed the walls. After that they painted the walls with some really nice paint. They had to fix all the problems the other companies did, and it was a great experience working with them. Paul was extremely professional I would highly recommend if you need the job done right the first time!
